i wish i would play enough dota so i could give tips to others.. i don't really like solo queue and all my friends who play have played since wc3 so playing with them isn't all that fun

Abbadon is a great aura carrier because he's so hard to kill, and is usually in the middle of the fights. Vlads is pretty good for pushing, even if your team is ranged, AC is better, though. Might want to consider getting mek before vlads or AC to tank up your team. Also helps with pushing. It really depends on the game. You could also opt for a necrobook. Very strong at pushing and teamfighting. Hinders the enemy from initiating with invisibility if you have necro3.

if you want to make something like it yourself, open steam settings, and opt into the steam beta, then go to tools, and find the dota 2 workshop tools alpha. it's a 5.5gig download, and you need a powerful PC with a 64 bit OS, but once it is done, you can create the next big custom map.
right now, a chinaman is working on recreating league of legends in dota. mening you could play with all champs, runes and all that unlocked from the start.
probably with the dota graphics, which i for one, prefer.
