Backtrack can never block the secondary effects (stun, slow, etc.) only the damage.

i think dota is better for casual playing since it is pretty chaotic which is more fun if you don't play seriously but lacks balance and more centered around farming which i don't find fun but i guess in casual games you can skip farming somewhat and it is just like lol with minor differences i was playing dota and lol for a long time not much of dota2 but when i tried it it was annoying how little changed, also you can't learn a game from watching others play that is bs

What holds you from trying
just mute chat and you'll be fine ( you should know from LoL ). quite a learning curve but you'll be rewarded with huge variety, game mechanic depths and always statisfying hero abilities

if you are interested in the game go for it, but do not go into it expecting it to be like league or you will have a bad time, also the learning curve will be steep as **** , so i recommend you at least try to find others to play with while you learn or you may be scared off.

i dont think ive ever seen someone as ****** as void, no TP, no chrono, his allies are far as **** away and even if they TP in they wont reach him in time, time walk on CD and no mana, incoming CK stun, treadswitching wont save you now poor little guy

unless he sleeps with RNGesus on a regular basis and backtracks everything for the next 3 minutes then hes boned beyond all recognition
i mean for ***** sake even the courier wants him dead

I have no idea who riki is up against, but I have seen that when Omni was played. If the game goes long enough, Omni gets good again because you run out of diffusal charges. Then you buy another diffusal blade and he is ****** once again.
