Could be worse, I guess.

Every time I see a Dota post or a League of Legends post, I honestly have no idea what's happening when I feel like it should be really simple to see. There's two teams, they fight. But I lack such a basic understanding of the two teams, that I don't see why any of these are fails

1st one: the hook coming from off-screen hopes to catch the icy blue dude (lich), but instead catches the creep. since both were perfectly stationary, it is very easy to see that it couldn't have caught anything but the creep.

2nd: cat lady (mirana) wants to interupt caped wizard (invoker) and prevent him from telporting away. her arrow can do that, if it hits. she shoots her arrow, but misses the stationary invoker. another easy move gone wrong.

3rd: the guy with the green healthbar, and red armor (sven) wants his ranged stun to hit as many of the enemy heroes (guys with red healthbars (helicopter, horseman, and native indian dude)), but instead of just clicking on either of them (sven's stun hits whoever you click on) he clicks on the summoned battleboar, and ends up stunning none of the enemy heroes.

4th: this one actually requires spesific knowledge, and is not here because it is a simple missplay:
There are neutral enemies in area's known as "the jungle". with a timing trick, you can spawn more of them than there usually are, (usefull for killing more of them for more gold and XP). this is after there are 3 times as many as usual. one spesific neutral enemy (the satyrs in pink-ish purple) has a energy blast that damages any hero or non-neutral creep caught in it's blast. the satyr will only fire it if there are at least 3 non-neutral enemies nearby, presumably at the closest enemy. the angel-bird guy is not in vision of the satyrs, but because he is the closest, they fire at him anyways. he dies to the neutral creeps, without even attacking them.

5th: cat lady with arrows chases escaping cape wizzard (same ones from 2nd gif).
crawling zombie guy is inside cape wizzard, waiting to burst out like a H.R.Giger alien. (it's useful for hitching a ride into the midst of the fight, or escaping it)
Just as cat lady shoots her big arrow, crawling zombie guy bursts out of cape wizzard. the arrow hits him and he dies. if he would just have stayed inside cape wizzard untill cape wizzard died, he would have been able to walk on further, possibly escaping.

6th, see post #7

7th: magnus the rhino guy can charge to the point clicked, and pushes any enemy heroes between him and his target point with him. magnus uses the blink dagger item (which lets you instantly teleport a short distance) to get in front of earthshaker (the guy with the big ass totem on his back) and charges back to his (magnus') team.
earthshaker's ultimate ability does more damage the more enemies there are in it's area. with all 5 heroes there, it does enough damage that his other spells can finish the job, and earthshaker can get the killing blow on all 5 of them. it is as if magnus brought the very dangerous bomb back to his team, so they could disable it together, but instead, it blew up in their faces.
hope this helps you and other's to enjoy this content.

actually, you could have caught lich with the hook, little known fact that i learned from playing some league actually. As it turns out, the hitboxes on champs are big enough that you can scrape the edge and hook despite the minion.

I'm assuming the shadow fiend used a high level dagon against the Nyx.

<-- Also, here's a massive broodmother and Mirana fail (Mostly Brood, but Navi was stupid enough to get in range too.)

Mate, I posted that before.

the desolator item gives your normal attacks a nice red effect to make sure your enemy notices they are getting minus armor, that is what you are confusing for a dagon. (which has a more zigg-zagg lightning thing going on). nyx uses the ability "spiked carapace" before starting his teleport, which makes him immune to nearly all forms of damage, and reflects it back to the attacker, as well as a short stun to the attacker. shadow fiend gets a critical hit (he presumably has a deadalus) and the damage is reflected back to him, and is great enough to kill him in one hit. it's like cartoon logic of a villain being too powerful for the hero, so the hero puts a mirror up to the laser beam, and the villain nukes himself.
