And have you considered that maybe the brolans like Dolan posts and find them batshit insane (in a good and humorous way)? I have seen more posts bitching about Dolan than Dolan posts themselves (which are then outnumbered by pony posts) and I'm very certain that the bronies that think of pony posts as humorous would think staring at the alarm clock would be humorous as well.

My brony friend made me watch some of the episodes on different occasions (11 in total) and I do not feel compelled to continue watching the show in the slightest. I liked Dolan posts on (rule 1,2) before they showed up here and I still find them rather hilarious! And for ponytime posts... I understand them and they mostly talk about what happened in the previous episode and engage bronies in conversations about the episode that they watched ex. Episode when spike steals some egg. After that episode aired we had some posts about it reach front page even though they did not have much funny in them. They did have ponies in them and as such they were thumbed up.

In conclusion I want to say that: we as a community "allow" bronies to post their content, and as such brolans should have the right to post theirs on this user updated site...

i don't thumb all pony posts, and the pony posts are practically exclusive to ponytime.
unless you somehow manage to go through like 50 posts on frontpage a day then you shouldn't even see them...

I navigate to the 20-50 thumb range but usually stop when I see 5 or so ponytime posts in a row.

Completely agreed, I myself have been to the pony thread and have to say that almost no one posts the fan art they make. They only complain about how mean fj was to their crappy drawings when they posted them.
