Nah man, but I see your point. People raised on videogames and movies don't really know how shoguns work. Most shotguns firing common loads would produce a much smaller shot pattern, but have a far greater range than most unexperienced people think.

In video games, you shoot at "humans", I don't think such a gun would be enough to kill a person in one shot.
But i never used one, so I can't know for sure. I'm more experienced with rifles

God, I hate video games for that. "Hurr, you're using a shotgun! It's useless from twelve feet away! Better use a pistol instead!"
