Yes often, the Doctor runs into his previous incarnations a lot
1973 " the Three Doctors " 2 and 3 team up
1983" The Five Doctors " Which was a bad name for it, as only Doctors 1,2,3, and 5 showed up.
1985 "The Two Doctors" the 6th and 2nd incarnations of the Doctor team up for a quick bit.
and in the 2007 Children in need special ( canon btw) the 10th Doctor met the 5th Doctor

And it is actually happening this november

Don't forget Dimensions in Time (although most would like to).
It had the Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth and Seventh Doctors.
It was also a crossover with Eastenders.

What I love most about the 2007 meet up, David Tennant said in an interview that the line "You were MY Doctor!" was true. Growing up, Tennant watched Doctor Who religiously and always wanted to be the Doctor and when he was young, the Doctor was on his 5th regeneration.

Don't think so. It would be weird having two of the same tardis at the same location

But that should never happen. The only time the TARDIS parked inside itself, they were almost trapped for eternity.

yes, but all i meant was, that if the writers can pull that off, it wont be any trouble to make the tardis park twice near eachother / itself
