If Donna was watching the 2012 olympics, then he probably had to stop his 10th version from being visible (especially in London), which would explain why the 11th doctor showed up and( possibly prevented the need for the 10th doctor to take the torch)

When they showed the TV and film clips, you could hear the tardis landing. I was just waiting for the doctor to run out of the crowd. Disappointed...
