Yeah, yeah. I know. She's technically a cyberwoman and she was only half-finished.
But you get my drift. Torchwood is a little more adult oriented.
OC! or again as much OC something can be by borrowing pictures from a tv series.
Also, I know she's badly keyed. Didn't have much time.
I've come to the conclusion that there are 3 levels of the Whoniverse. The the first level is the Sarah Jane Adventures, which is geared toward children and mostly just has adventure and happiness. The middle is Doctor Who, which is fun for the whole family, but can be very sad with some darker themes. Torchwood themes are more grown up and not for children. In Doctor Who, things get sad and dark sometimes, but everything usually turns out ok in the end. Torchwood has themes about human nature which is not family friendly. Though fantastic and funny at times, Torchwood takes a 'what if' situation and shows you what would probably happen based on reality, which can be a kick in the balls after the feel good happy/funny greatness of Doctor Who. Great, great show nonetheless
The reason she was like that was, not becasue they wanted some kind of sex appeal (there's plenty of that throughout), but because she was only half-way through being turned into a Cyber(wo)man. Torchwood is an amazing show.
Yeah, there's alot of sex appeal in Torchwood. I was used to watching the family-friendly Doctor who, so the second episode really caught me off guard!
That's too bad, cause' it's actually a pretty good show. And they did have a reason to why she was so lightly dressed.
It shows what's happening on earth while the Doctor's not around, and it's aimed at more mature audiences.
It's not all sexalthough the second episode is just ******* crazy. There's also murders, child abuse, rape and alot more dark subjects. I at least think it's a great show.
Well, there's some time travel involved. But it has very similliar humor and style to Doctor who, and it also has alot of the same writers.
They also mention the Doctor time from time, but not too much. Jack also kinda takes on the role as the Doctor as he acts very similliar to his crew.
I suggest watching it, at least watching the first 3-5 episodes, but if you're watching Doctor Who for the Doctor and the time travel it might no be for you.
But, yeah, wasn't too mature. Still, it's aimed at an older audience than Doctor who and they want to be a little mroe "edgy".
At least they're not afraid of a little gay.
Doctor who has always had some bits of gay humor, pretty much everything with Captain Jack, which is of course why Torchwood has so much too. I'm just saying that it's pretty hard to miss that it's aimed at an older audience.
Also the Doctor and Craig bits. Matt Smith and James Gorden got great chemistry though and they made one m\of my favorite episodes.
Actually, I also think every member of Torchwood has made out/snogged or had sex with a member of the same sex.
Yeah, it's a spin off from Doctor Who.
It centers around the orgnization called Torchwood which captures aliens.
Realy cool show, alot more adult oriented though. In the second episode there is an alien that feeds of orgasms.

Nah, it's a spin off series from Doctor Who detailing the adventures of Captain Jack and the organization Torchwood.
It's like Doctor Who on earth focused more on aliens and aimed at an older audience.
I think it might be primarily because of the bad quality and overall bad shot I took.
I chose that exact moment only because the pose matched the one of the normal cyberman. It was also very badly cut.. But yeah, the quality of the costumes and cgi/vfx is even worse than normal Doctor Who...
