I had given into temptation to watch the Doctor Who series, skipping practically all of the first ones... I'm watching the last three, which seem to be the most common from what I've seen. Don't criticize me, it's just like all us bronies(most common ones, anyway)- We didn't watch the first 2 generations, but we still love the hell out of FIM.

Uhm, good or bad? I'm not sure what this means to be completely honest...

It's not a trashcan is what he means.
A trash can is the metal ones you see in America that actually have a canister like shape.
What is in the picture is called a "Wheelie Bin", made out of plastic and what are obviously a boxed rectangular shape; and it gets its name from the fact it has wheels on it for easier use of unloading waste.

Actually... What they call trash cans, we should still call trash cans... Wheelie Bins and trash cans aren't the same thing with a different name, they are completely different.

We call 'em bins though.

I don't want to call them "Wheelie trash cans"

We wouldn't call them Wheelie Trash Cans because Trash Cans don't have wheels.

I'm not going to lie, I quite enjoyed the 1st season of the reboot, I'm not saying it's better than the newer series, but I did enjoy the 1st, regardless.

Ahh, yes. I loved it when Christopher was the doctor. I like David, and I might like Matt, but so far... Chris is my favorite, he just ... he suited it so well.

By skipping the Nine and Ten stories you're really not missing out on anything that relates to the current storyline apart from the first encounter with River Song. So you should watch Silence in The Library and Forest of the Dead for completionsake.

I think it's S04E09 and E10.

You'l be a bit confused because you don't know the companion but that's it

Thanks. So, should I just continue watching what I'm watching or watch these before a certain part, or...?

You should have watched it before the first appearance of River in season 5 but just phone it in if you have time

Well I've watched almost the whole season for the 9th doctor. And I haven't watched anything with the River Song I don't think.

to the description, there were 3.5 generations before FiM. (the half was due to just a change in art style, not setting or anything else)

Yeah, I plan to watch the older ones, but just seeing stuff from David Tennant, or whoever plays the tenth doctor, I'd thought I'd start with the lolz I've seen.

I watched An Unearthly Child and Planet of the Dead (first Dalek story)

But skipped ahead to the third Doctor, mainly because it's easier to watch
