I have seen one episode of Doctor Who, the first one, and it was TERRIBLE. Does it get better? Cause I couldn't bring myself to watch the next episode.

(I'm gonna assume you mean the 2005 one) No, not really. I watched it too and it was really boring. I decided to give it another chance but nope, it was still pretty bad. And I really wanted to like it too, but after watching 5 episodes and being disappointed I decided that this fad was something I'd never understand.

I'm fairly certain the first episode was a radio show. but to answer your question, yes it does get better, particularly around the second season mark
