Well, why not? Timelord goes rouge, genetically modifies or otherwise interferes with a race and creates the original Daleks who will act as those residing in the Parliament of Daleks and those who have command over the soldiers who are total conversions of other races, mainly Human and Timelord.

we've seen the origin of the daleks it's very well documented.
they were made by Davros by him experimenting with kaleds that had be mutated by nuclear war

I was mainly referencing the ones on Asylum that Amy saw.

but all the current generation of daleks were never in the time war so the ones in the asylum couldn't be converted timelord's

What about human/human like aliens?

well there would probably be a few from the crashed ship. but i doubt there would me many like dalek girl (her name escapes me at the moment) that would be worthy of total conversion. and since the daleks have the capabilities to just clone more pure daleks i doubt they would have any converted outside the asylum

Asylum was blown up, so unless her casing can survive a planet destroying explosion Granted Asylum is most likely has many tunnels so it would be weaker and the vastness of space then yes.

i'm talking about the hive mind thing they talked about. it extended out to the daleks in orbit so perhaps she could have sort of uploaded the mind to it before she died. it's not the most ridiculous way people have avoided death in this show

Actually from what a Puppet said we can assume all of their memories are still stored in the Hive mind so all she would have to do is update her memories and upload her emotions, that could be a valid theory.

Techno babble is a very valid plot point even if they avoid using it, like Souffle girl.

when she does become a companion no mater what she does she will always be Souffle girl.

the daleks used to be not inside shells. They got in a war. They were going to lose. Davros made the shells and took away all emotion. They won and became what they are.

Well not exactly, in The Impossible Astronaut the future doctor tells Amy and Rory he is 1103. The current one I don't believe is the future one thus he isn't yet 1103 and since he was 906ish in the series before I believe is is roughly between 906-1103. I hope that makes sense.

I take it you've not seen the newest episode. There's a part where Amy believes she is seeing some people in a Dalek asylum, but it turns out that they're actually Dalek's playing mind tricks on her. So when she finally sees them, there are a load of Daleks just spinning in circles and shtuff.

Spoiler Alert: Amy is hallucinating in a room of daleks and she sees the daleks for what the daleks think they are, and in the back of a room in her hallucination you see a spinning ballerina, and when she snaps out of hallucinating the ballerina is actually just an old school dalek spinning
