am i the only one who thought that the episode was kinda short? i mean, they go back, talk, get chased around some, then into rory's room, then they hop up to the roof and jump. i just felt that not much really happened, and they could have added in a lot more things. all in all, it was a good episode, because i was really happy that finally one of his companions (well, both) got a happy ending, unlike the others, like rose in another dimension, or donna losing all her memories of the doctor. and i've always really liked the angels, they're my favorite recurring enemy, if you could call them that
But.. Rose ended up getting a pretty happy ending towards the end.
She got her own part-human Doctor clone to love and grow old with at least. So while the real Doctor might have been sad about it.. Rose's story didn't end that badly.
yeah, i think it the saddest end was donna's. although i kinda realized that donna's and rose's endings went together (not counting the human-doctor), in a way. think about it like this: would it be better to remember it, but never be able to do it again, and miss it, or never remember it?
It took me by surprise.. I thought it was all finally over after the whole "death" by the paradox...
And with that that was technically Amy's "final farewell" ... and with that whole incident Amy and Rory would just decide to live the rest of their lives normally or something.. but then.. ******* damn it!
Matt Smith's crying is just tear inducing. He make it look like he's genuinely in pain. Apparently they had to shoot the last scene multiple times because Karen couldn't control her crying.
The new companion has already been announced, I would tell you but I hate to ruin the surprise. Its all over the interwebs if you really want to know. But I would wait and be stunned. www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-17456505

While I don't know anything about the character itself, that actor that played as the "souffle girl" in the first episode is the person that's going to play as his next companion. Assuming her next character was a lot like that.. it sounds like she will be pretty fun.
