given that the image of an angel becomes an angel, it would be stuck watching itself forever, like the thing where the tardis disapeared in Blink. buuut you would also have to hold the mirror there forever...

It wouldn't disable it forever, only for a short time.
The mirror would become an angel and angel would look at itself until you turn off the lights, then the mirror wouldn't hold an image of an angel anymore due to lack of light, and the angel would move again.
But in case they really existed and attacked you, it would be a good tactic to run away.

Except things like "I know things, knowledge that must never be spoken" is true. everywhere he goes he risks altering the universe with a paradox by saying the wrong thing.
