I may be alone in thinking this, but it feels like ever since Matt Smith took over there's been no risks anymore. During David Tennant's run, a lot of good guys died. Even moreso during Christopher Eccleston's. No one ever dies anymore, and even when they do, they find a way to bring them back so it's irrelevant. I can't really get into it anymore since I know "Oh, the Doctor will solve everything by the end."

I do like Matt Smith's Doctor, however. Don't take this the wrong way. I just don't think the show is as good.

I actually really didn't enjoy this episode. It just felt forced and fake to me unfortunately. One big pet peeve of mine and I know it's just a show but that 19th century rocket was ridiculous, it took the best scientists years to get rockets to perform correctly and this old crazy lady with a parasite on her chest somehow designed one. And they survived the rocket blasting right by them, they would have been burned to cinders as it flew by.

It took me most of the episode to catch the TomTom joke

This episode was... conflicting. It was for me the best episode out of the five so far i had all the elements and atmosphere of DW with some more melancholic themes however he ending where Moffat ust had to shove Oswins children down the Tardis's throat by hem coincidentally finding a picture of her. I really ******* hope those brats are ripped to pieces by the Cybermen.

**** I agree why would a time traveler sit there and pose for pictures like that. Absolutely ridiculous. And the kids thing was SO forced, the Tardis is no place for children, the Dr. can barely keep his companion alive, in fact, he often can't.

How far along Season 7 is Doctor Who?
I just started not even two weeks ago from Season one and I'm on like Season 5 episode 5. I still have a ways to go.

No matter how far behind you are, it'll still feel like it was over too soon when you have to wait for new episodes like the rest of us.
Cherish this time, friend.
They just aired episode Twelve, by the way. Since that totally didn't answer your question.

Favourite episode of this half so far, the rest of them were low tier with ****** endings. This is a great one, and I love Commander Strax.

I liked this episode, but it felt a little rushed. I feel like if it were like 15 minutes longer it would have been better.

Did anyone else feel the morbid undertone to this story, just below all the Smith sillyness? Like a character being blinded in an assault by her her own mother and then subsequently abused and experimented on? How did that clear the BBC's DW guidelines?!

This episode sucked. As the Doctor is on his quest to discover who Clara is he takes her back to the first place he saw her die and...nothing. Nothing added to the progressive storyline of the season. I was disappointed

I like Clara, and I like the new look for the Doctor and the Tardis, but the storylines for this new season haven't been great. The Heart of the Tardis and that one about the internet were alright, but the rest have been lacking in depth. Unlike most other seasons, there hasn't really been any underlying theme or plot--except for Clara's identity, which they never really talk about until the ends of the episodes like an after-thought.

I think they ****** up when they changed companions half way through a season.

I've only seen one episode, not that into Dr. Who, but Clara is damn fine. I would sex her all night long.

It could have been a fantastic episode if it weren't for the last scene with the kids. For ***** sake, how lame can you get.
