The fanbase is horrible. Thankfully a lot of the fangirls/fanboys left when Capaldi became the Doctor. He wasn't young and sexy anymore, so they lost interest in the show. Pretty funny.

My mom's best friend's son, who I suspect suffers heavily from autism (seriously), watched that show. Forever ruined it for me.
I had to sit there and watch an episode with him and it was just utter **** and felt like it was the Minecraft version of a TV show. Just felt childish.
But that's just me. I also know the words to 99% of the songs sung on Scrubs' musical episode. So.....

Fan base is a term normally used for the vocal audience, ones who, for example, subscribe to the reddit, follow tumble hashtags, YouTube channels, etc. I suppose fan base could be used for the entire audience, but mainly it isn't.

youre only part of the fan base if you do something like. For example, subscribe/follow sources of information about the show, make posts about it etc. fan base is a term normally used for the vocal part of a show's audience, but I suppose it could be used as a larger term as well.

The doctor who fan base is one of the worst, currently;
1. They feel the need to mention doctor who any time they can, either by comparing someone/thing to someone/zing in doctor who,
2. Often the show can have no faults, in their eyes. Every time a new episode comes out, they cannot think critically of it.
3. They're constantly worshipping each of actors for the main characters, People like to argue over which actor is best.

But **** man, this is just my opinion.

The Doctor and James Bond are not similar at all. The main thing I can think of is that they've both been played by multiple people, but even that's not a similarity. James Bond's actors are playing the same dude, MI6 doesn't even mention the actor change. While on the other side, you've got the Doctor switching people like there's no tomorrow.
This **** is why I'm ashamed to be a fan of Dr. Who.

Well, there is a fan theory that "James Bond" is just a code name given to several different men. Even though this fan theory is one of the more seemingly plausible ones out there it's probably nothing like a lot of other fan theories. Not even sure why I brought it up.

Even if the fan theory is real, its been reset because casino royal was the first novel in the 007 series and the new bind movies were a reboot of the whole series. I am actually scared for the future of bond films, with this new stupid trend of casting females in male roles I am scared the next james bond will be a female, which would be ******* dumb. I can see it now Jane bond 00 ************* coming soon to **** you over.

its not about female roles, if the role was made for females ok then, but guess what, ghostbusters was made with males in mind, road house was made with a male in mind yes they are remaking road house with a female , I would feel the same way if they re-casted a male in a female role. James bond needs to stay male, that the moral of this story, james bond never needs to be made into a female just for the sake of ''diversity'' and being ''progressive''

In my head canon, James Bond is the code name given along with the code number 007, to one of the top agents. So every time they changed actor, was because the previous agent with the code name James Bond was killed.

I also have a shaky theory that the 00's were all given unique abilities, 006 had the ability of deception, which made him want to go rogue. 007's unique ability is suggestion, so he can cheat at poker with his bluffs, can coerce the opposite sex and convince his targets to tell him their plans and make henchmen hesitate.
