So he's getting younger and younger as the series continues? Eventually leading to the point when the series ends because he'll regenerate as a child and he won't be able to do anything?

He regenerates as a younger man each time, so he can technically not die of old age until his regenerations have run out (he can only do it a certain number of times).

Yes, but as I mentioned, what if he doesn't run out of Regenerations by the time he regenerates as a little boy or something?

Then he'll just turn into a little boy and have to go through puberty again. It hasn't happened to him yet, but in the show, another time lord regenerates when she's a young girl and turns into a baby again.
