Right, so. Blink is actually a pretty good episode, I think it's the 'Whovians' that ruined it for you (if you made this, of course.) I definitely don't consider it the be-all-end-all of the new series, for me that's Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead.
Even though that episode introduces River Song, a character I've grown to dislike immensely.

It's like if you were serious about only splitting people into two categories then I would truly lose faith in these things. It's just fucking Doctor Who, I like it, so I watch it. I don't argue about how I enjoy it, just get over it.

It seems I fit under the left-hand column, yet I prefer having names for fandoms. I am not sure why, but calling us "Whovians," regardless of the column we belong to, makes us seem like a more organized group.

I actualy felt Blink was a pretty darn crapy episode. The highlights are the short time the Doctor is in it the rest is just boring. Also the angels are not scary in my opinion they are just a bit creepy. Also about the newer episodes the time of angels when they catch one guy they kill him (I think by snaping his neck) and then they talk through him. I thought they could only kill by touching and sending someone backwards through time. And another thing is in The Angels Take Manhattan It wasnt that great of an episode either Most of it felt like the whole episode was made just to remove Rory & Amy from the series. Honestly though they could have done alot better in my opinion.

Ive loved every episode sofar. The Matt Smith saga is having it's turnabouts for me, but I still love the series.
I started from "Rose" as well (If that's the first episode from the reboot) And I honestly loved the wartime-scarred sarcastic borderline manic doctor. Tennant was fucking terriffic, and I think Matt smith has got potential.
And IVe watched tons of Dr Who movies and Can say all of the actors have their own quirks and likes and dislikes. I guess it depends on the person.

shunkahawolf (02/14/2013) [-] what are you talking about? blink was a great episode. the enemies were frightening and the plot was perfect. the later weeping angel episodes wernt very good because they showed the angels moving and took away all the mystery and fear of not knowing
