No dude, you aren't bad for this. Alot of people take everything I write here for granted, as you can see. However, it's very easy to look up this dinosaur and see that it's nowhere near to be the best preserved dinosaur foot, since we still have other bird feet to look at today. It is a dinosaur though, an avian one. :D

Yes, FunnyJunk as a whole seems to do the same thing that you did, but the fact that you are spreading this false information is really the problem.
There is a delete post also, stoopid. Come on, don't pretend like those -8 thumbs are your life, and if they are you might want to change something...

I'm not intentionally spreading false information, nor is this information destructive.
I know there is a delete post, but this time I'm standing up for myself. I don't want to have to be forced to do it.
It's taken me a long time to build comment thumbs for my account, and I know how just a few thumbs can split up the percentages.

People are starting to red-thumb it for the fun of it. Fuck fj logic.
I didn't expect to find so many people know what a Megalapteryx is and protect it so bad. I'm getting off fj for the night but I need to delete this shit before more Megalapteryx defenders red-thumb it beyond shit overnight and fuck up my account I've worked so hard on.

"You’ll hear people tell you that birds are dinosaurs, and that is supposed to blow you away and make you go all gaga about birds and evolution. People also say that hyraxes are elephants, but they are so distant in their relationship that it is little different than saying that deer are a type of pronghorn antelope"

I have to piggy back on your post because its what I tell my friends all the time. Saying birds are dinosaurs is entirely correct, BUT so is saying all mammals are reptiles. The problem with dinosaurs is that they don't fit into either birds or reptiles, they are an intermediary (sp?) group. In reality all life is a continuum and placing animals in groups like the Linnean system does is, imho, an outdated idea.
I like your way of thinking. But, I would place mammals with reptiles in the same way putting birds into dinosaurs. Why? Because there is little to no difference between a modern bird and a non-avian dinosaur, at least the theropod ones. Give Microraptor a beak and shorten its tail; you have a bird. Mammals and reptiles have completely different body functions, as in cold- vs warmblooded, the embryo starting point, milk vs no milk, etc.
