Actually, Deadpool can die, and quite easily as well.

As explained by Lady Death: Deadpool's Healing Factor, while much better than Wolverine's, also triggers differently. For Wolverine, it's just a regenerative ability, absolutely passive, but for Deadpool, his ability is triggered by sheer will-power. He could die if he let himself, but (even if just subconsciously) he really does want to keep on living and so he does. Deadpool is literally able to 'will' himself out of Death in a technical sense, and even when his mutations were taken away from him for a short time, he was able to survive being shot multiple times and endure otherwise fatal wounds simply because he wouldn't accept dying without having revenge, but by the time he got his revenge his powers came back.

Wolverine has completely regenerated from a drop of blood in the comics

Then deadpool could completely regenerate just from the crusty fap sock laying on his couch.

I love characters who are immortal and enjoying the **** out of it. We don't need immortals brooding over their existence, like Superman. We need immortal characters who proudly flip the world off and yell "COME AT ME!". That's what makes Deadpool awesome - not his immortality, but the way he goes about it.

I think Deadpool is a pretty ****** character, and those who like him often do so purely because "o0mg hes so random xD".

Because Death is his girlfriend, and gives him reacharounds.

What's the point in superheroes who can't die?
#199 to #196 - eenor (11/13/2013) [-]
Deadpool is not a serious superhero, he is slapstick. He knows he is in a comic, breaks the fourth wall all the time and is hilarious.

Deadpool's cancer isn't cured exactly, however due to his rapid healing factor, the cells in his body are constantly being replaced with new cells. This healing factor which is constantly replacing the dying tissue, is extremely rapid and actually one of the causes for Deadpool's amnesia. it both cured him of cancer but it also mutated the cancer to the point where it grew in every cell of his body. So if he loses his ability the cancer will grow back and kill him.

I think that you take all the fun out and fairness out of a character when you make them invincible.

Like in deadpool comics how do you even enjoy it? If theres a conflict between deadpool and other character, deadpool obviously isnt going to lose.

he looses all the time. he gets locked in crates for hundreds of years and buried, or blown into pieces so he needs to look for all his body parts while everyone just leaves. also the fun comes from him being deadpool. hes just insane, and its entertaining to watch.
