I'm sorry. Steve Blum is one of the best VA's in history, but I don't think he suits Deadpool. Nolan North does it too well as it is. He's goofy, loony, crazy, and while listening to him in just about every VA role, I get the feeling that he's just perfect for this role.
Look at North's list of character. He's got guys like Vashyron (Resonance of Fate/End of Eternity), Nathan Drake (Uncharted), Elliot Salem (Army of Two: The 40th Day), The Prince (Prince of Persia '08), Corrupted Cores and Defective Turrets (Portal 2). He's even voiced Deadpool in Hulk vs Wolverine, and MvC3. And in almost every role I've mentioned, he's played some form of insane, psychopathic, sociopathic, goofy, or otherwise well-humored person who may or may not have faced some sort of tragedy or horrible event (Vashyron, for example, who is a veteran whose entire squad was killed by a certain antagonist; and even then Vash is a pretty fun guy). Face it, Nolan North has Deadpool down. Steve Blum would just be changing a formula that's already worked perfectly for every media Deadpool appearance outside the original material. Why change it if it ain't broke?

Batman originally used guns.. it wasn't until like the 60's or 70's that he became a 'no killing righteous justice' blah blah blah. I liked him when he was just a bad ass detective.
