Asked girl out on Facebook

 
Hey guys i'm sitting here the morning after getting quite drunk, and then thinking i'm alpha by asking this girl i like, but hardly ever talk to out on Facebook. She predictably hasn't responded, and i'm sitting here cringing all day in my room about how beta this was. Do I send another message saying sorry and make up some ******** about being fraped or something? Or just leave it? I said "hey i know we haven't really spoken much but I was wondering if you were still around ***** and if you would like to go on a date?"

My plan is now to avoid her forever lol.

Edit: **** she actually responded positively, but unfortunately is moving. But I feel good about it, i finally asked a girl out.

to me it looks like you simply asked her if she would like to go on a date sometime...its a pretty common interaction on the book of faces. you are only a beta if you act like a fag and run away..if she says no you lose nothing and if she says yes you get a date. quit worrying about looking alpha/beta and just act like a non autistic person for a bit.

drunk texting is a common thing, and that could save you a few points.

It worked for me once. Drunk texted a girl that I wanted to eat her out
said i was drunk

asked her out in person like 2 months later
dated her for 2 years

but regardless youre pretty much ******

Step 1: Damage control
Let her know through a message or two that you were really drunk and someone dared you to do it. Make it minimum 2 messages, no more than three. 1 long message looks like you thought it out too much. something like "hey X so sorry about that message the other night" "me and some buddys were drinking and they saw you in my feed and bet me i wouldn't ask you out and my dumb drunken self felt like i had to do it". Never say anything along the lines of "i didn't want to weird you out" or anything like that, because then it's in her head. Throw in a lol if possible.

Step 2: Reshaping
She is probably thinking you're a weirdo creep who just asked her over Facebook with one hand. It's time to change that image. Ask her some innocent stuff to build a base like "hey does X still date X" or "Do you know if that rumor about X is true about them doing X". Questions are none threatening. If you have a class with her ask her for the page numbers of the stuff or when it's due. She now at least has a slightly better opinion of you being not too weird

Step 3: The Kill
Start winding down the conversation if you're having one and then top it off with a date question. "Alright X, thanks for the info about X" "Also i was thinking of doing X this weekend and was wondering if you'd like to go with me". Share minor details like it will be at X time or X place. This gives her an option to be unavailable instead of just a flat out no. If she says no then you can act cool about it and just say something like "alright, sounds fun. I'll throw you an invite next time me and some people roll then"

Thanks man. I'm gonna give up on her though as its way too ******* awkward now. I'll just stay off facebook a few days and hope it blows over

Apologise, tell her you were drunk.
Explain that you've had a crush on her for a while, and while drinking you picked up the balls to ask her out. Basically just be truthful.

Don't be all "I understand if you're not interested" because that gives the impression that you're either ashamed or you don't see yourself as enough of a catch (low confidence). Just laugh it off instead. Then if she replies in a friendly, conversational way, just make normal conversation.
Maybe you guys will wind up talking more?

I doubt it. I've been reading loads of girls on Yahoo answers say this is the worst way to ask someone out, and it shows you're weak and lack confidence. Thank you for the answer
