Been replaying through Dark Souls II and literally died at that exact spot. I've always just jumped over the hole after shooting the ironclads with arrows to kill them. Instead I was just running through. Stood on the weak plate wondering why it was there and a hole wasn't. Ironclad smashed plate and we both fall to our death.
One of the easiest soul farming spots but requires you to kill the boss in the room below the fire. I want to say there's like, 4 monsters right outside that if you do it right you can cause 2 of em to just fall to their death? Idk. It's been awhile
actually 3 seconds if my math is right
because to get 400k every minute from a boss soul that gives 25k per use you would need to kill the giant lord 16 times in one minute as you said....one minute for 400k souls a minute is 60 seconds so 60 divided by 16 is 3.75 so you need to kill him once every 3 seconds.
if you can kill him in 3 seconds please tell me how
it's completely possible to kill him in about 20-30 seconds, it's about 3minutes for most people since they choose to do hex him which is safer and requires less concentration, which is better for long, loooong farming sprees, but more time is spent in the loading screen and at the bonfire, and running to Giant Lord than actually fighting him.
He said it was one of the easiest soul farming spots. Giant Lord is better, since it's more efficient, gets you blessings, soul vessels, an extra ascetic each run, and 20-40 times the souls.
