This ************ right here
Took me forever because I got the DLC on NG++, but I refused to summon anyone to help because I wanted it to be a one-on-one swordfight. I ended up beating him and it made me extremely happy, and then Manus kicked my ass.

wat r u, casul?

That was a hard as **** boss, though. Even with my Giantdad he was pretty hard until you memorize his attack pattern.

i did that on newgame 1 with my battle mage

I set up a build that makes the game significantly harder but significantly more fun and intense. I'm average at everything; I can cast most spells, take a few hits, and I'm pretty fast but I can tank if need be (depends on armor I put on), so it opens up lots of potential strategies for bosses and PVP. My highest stat is Endurance at 67 and my lowest stat (besides resistance and attunement at 20 each) is probably faith at 30

i got 30 vitality and endurance, 50 intelligence, 16 dexterity, 30 strength, 54 poise, and medium roll. i can kill most people easy, and that is because i use the tin crystallization catalyst with the bellowing dragon crest ring. i use the moonlight greatsword. what do you use? and what level are you, and what console?
User avatar #148 to #147 - Jesusnipples (04/28/2013) [-]
I use Dex weapons + Darkmoon enchantment, which can be brutal if you play defensively enough. When I wanna focus on magic stuff I put on the Crown of Dusk, Wolf Ring, and Tin Crystallization Catalyst. I'm level 240 on Xbox

you forrest hunt dont you?
User avatar #151 to #150 - Jesusnipples (04/28/2013) [-]
I used to, but I'm a Darkmoon Blade now. I still get to invade a lot, particularly in the forest, which is cool
User avatar #153 to #151 - ghostisaho (04/28/2013) [-]
i am part of the darkwraiths, who i consider to be the best group out there. can your dark moon invading go past level caps, like can you invade anyone who has sinned reguardless of level?
User avatar #158 to #153 - Jesusnipples (04/28/2013) [-]
I know the level restrictions are looser for a Darkmoon, but they're still there. I don't know the exact numbers. I used to be a Darkwraith myself and it was a lot of fun, but I've gone Darkmoon for the weapon enchantment. I'm at a point in the game where I can join any covenant I want to whenever I want, except for Gravelord Servant and Princess' Guard

me, i am 120, so i can invade most people. i am not trying to be rude to your covenant, but most darkmoons don't think when they play, they just spam attacks without using their class properly. me, i need to combine my melee attacks with dark bead to use it properly, and i need to use my pursuers, homing crystal soul mass, and crystal soul mass at medium range, and my rt attack when i am not locked on.

I understand bro, I don't like the people in my covenant but I like the covenant a lot, if that makes sense. Sometimes for fun I like to fight without locking on at any point, it's pretty entertaining and it's really good PVP practice
User avatar #163 to #162 - ghostisaho (04/28/2013) [-]
how do you use your class?
User avatar #165 to #163 - Jesusnipples (04/28/2013) [-]
I started as a Wanderer class, which gave me pretty good Dexterity right off the bat without having my other stats too low. My dexterity is more leveled than my strength, and as a result, I do about 400-700 on a hit with my Great Scythe and about 350-600 on a hit with my Balder Side Sword
User avatar #168 to #165 - ghostisaho (04/28/2013) [-]
i usually do 400 damage with my moonlight greatsword, but with my bellowing dragon crest ring, and my tin crystallization catalyst, any spell, even the starting ones do over 5oo damage, and with the sort of op spells, i really do not need to try, so i most of the time screw with my enemies minds, like i sometimes trick them into falling off of a cliff. i get shouted at through messages soo much.
User avatar #170 to #168 - Jesusnipples (04/28/2013) [-]
Sometimes just to be a dick I like to put on my Ring of Fog and hide next to the cliff staircase in Oolacile Township, then Force people off the edge, just because some of the hate mail I get is extremely entertaining

what do you generally play as
User avatar #175 to #173 - Jesusnipples (04/28/2013) [-]
I usually go with a light armor set and a good Dexterity weapon and a fully upgraded Grass Crest Shield, and I always keep some good safety spells on me (Pursuers, Dark Bead, Darkmoon Enchant, Replenishment, etc.)
User avatar #176 to #175 - ghostisaho (04/28/2013) [-]
i go as a medium roll battle mage, who has the havels gauntlets and leggings, while having logans robes, and hat, so people are confused about my poise.
User avatar #179 to #176 - Jesusnipples (04/28/2013) [-]
Hmm that's a good idea, I'll have to try that at some point
User avatar #180 to #179 - ghostisaho (04/28/2013) [-]
54 poise is the exact breakpoint for great weapons, so i can tank in pvp.
User avatar #181 to #180 - Jesusnipples (04/28/2013) [-]
Ooooh see I didn't know that, I constantly have 40 poise from the ring and it usually works but sometimes doesn't, thanks
