I'm all for shaping your skills.....but....

Ya know, if the developers won't want to actually polish their game, that's cool too. By now, I've barely just gotten by dealing with Spiderwitch bitch on DS1, and an easy 50% of my deaths are do to glitches. Long range backstabs akin to MW2 knifing lulz, getting #rekt by an enemy I should easily be able to block (like, those ****** little hollow soldiers in undead burg?) because he completely ignored my shield. I mean, I enjoy the game, but I've raged way too much because of this **** .

Don't worry. You'll get better. And used to them. Think of Dark Souls as a patience tester.

Helix + Mastodon powerstanced doing 1k dmg per hit.

Getting 'backstabbed' while facing an enemy after rolling away.

Put Red Soapstone down and get summoned in by a Havel/Smelter with 2 white phantoms for help that chugs estus.

join the dragon bros, you can use estus, you can use the sign while hollow, and i'm not sure but i think you can't summon people after you summon a dragon bro and if you have phantoms you can't see dragon eyes.

Look, I am probably going to receive some hatred for this, but I want to put my opinion out there. In my honest opinion a game like World of Warcraft is miles ahead in difficulty compared to Dark Souls for pvp or just being decent at the game in general. I played and beat the first Dark Souls and it is nowhere near as intense or hard as high rated PVP in WoW. It's simply learning how an enemy is programmed and after that it's not difficult to not even be touched by enemies you know how to get around. Same can be said for the PVP. It's simply dealing with how an enemy is going to block and what he is going to do with his limited abilities. Compare that to worrying about what you're going to do with your 30+ keybinds/macros against multiple different classes at the same time and you have to keep track of their abilities, positioning, CSs, CDs, and CCs. Seriously, I have no idea why people find Dark Souls difficult. Sure, you die some in the beginning, but if you're not retarded you can easily toy with the same bosses and enemies even as a level one a few hours later. I'm not going to post as anon here because I don't really care, just wanted to get my opinion out there.

It doesn't balance out, it's not auto aim. I've played WoW PvP before and it's not challenging at all. Press 123456 bla bla kill with auto aim and you're done. TERA needs to stagger the opponent and pull off a succesful combo like in fighting games, like Blazblue for example. It needs precise timing and blocking in the matter of miliseconds to not take damage. This game has no RNG elements to it, no % block rate it all depends on the player's skill, if you have no gear you can still kill them if you are good enough. I use some horrible gear other than my weapon and I can easily get killed against high gear people, but I don't because I know how to block well. I've gone up against korean players before most of them being high ranked in 3v3 arena, I also play with extremely high ping. tl:dr Git gud WoW isn't a good game to talk about being good at games, just awareness of your surroundings, which isn't challenging at all.
