The blue Smelter Demon is the only boss in the game that can alter his timings on attacks. Therefore, learning his pattern does not mean you can dodge the attacks, it's a boss where it's 100% reactions and no simply "getting it down"
literally all you had to do to kill haven was run circles around him till he swung at you and then backstab him a couple times. i don't think i died once to him.
Dude i'm feeling chills at the fact im watching Berserk The Golden Age in another window and just as im scrolling down and see your comment the dark knight dude in your gif just happens to appear in the anime.
Its split into 3 parts each being around 70-90 minutes long about. I was incredibly surprised with the story its much more amazing than i thought it would be. Im just glad I came in knowing nothing about the Berserk manga or the tv show because the turn that this show took in the third part (Descent) is amazing. The voice acting for the dub could be better but in my opinion suits the anime better than the Japanese voice actors. Watch it man you won't regret all of the epic scenes in this show and the violence and gore is grotesque but in a good way, adds so much.
btw i should probably warn you that the creators left the arc at an incredible cliff hanger, something along the lines of the animator has health issues. So don't expect another berserk movie anytime soon. I think i might read the manga if I have the time or watch the old cartoons but ill see.
see i've always thought that as well, and also random generated traps you know that hall you just walked down few mins ago well now your back tracking to the bonfire all safe and **** then bam trap door///you died maybe if they ever go for a dark souls 3
for the mimics you have to make sure you can tell the difference. for example the chest mimics have their chains the opposite way round.
the bonfire mimic would have either a clean sword or the bonfire already kindled, the corpse mimic should have the tongue be moving slightly or the corpse item should glow a darker hue and the the ladder would have to be missing a few runs or something.
If we're taking the art at face value, the bonfire mimic seems to have a weaker flame and twigs coming out of it. On the corpse mimic you can see the tongue in the back of the corpse, just like any other mimic it's obvious if you pay attention.

But you put a special item in one of those chests.....maybe a key to actually open big mimic to actually expose some vulnerable points.
