I was just doing some PvP on the bridge when this happened. None of the reds were talking to the whites, afaik, so I'm impressed that it worked out. This time, us reds got our asses kicked, but the second round that happened later we managed to single out the host, and kicked his ass. I love the DS community.

Is that the DS one? nah. I was all on the PSP versions

If you are able, I'd recommend looking into getting the PPSSPP emulator on your PC (if it's half decent), downloading 'MHP2G HD ver' and Evolve client & there you have the best graphics version of Monster Hunter (other than MHO, China exclusive) with online capability.

Oh and I'd recommend using your PS3 controller if you have one - just need to install SCP DS3 Driver, plug in your controller & you're good to go.

the whay its structured is different than most games and it doesnt hand ANYTHING to you on a platter not even the story

Dark Souls 1 is my favorite game of all time. Dark Souls 2 is a great game, but doesn't quite live up to the first. I still have a blast with both.

One of the only things about DKS2 which is the reason I play it over DKS is power stancing, if that **** was in DKS then I would never even think about playing DKS2 Oh and 3 weapon slots for both hands

I can list a lot of gameplay mechanics that were improved in DS2. Power stancing, shield breaks, (although I did like kicks, I kinda want both), I feel like the movesets are more interesting as well.

That being said, DS1 is better in pretty much every aspect. The level design is stellar, the lore is intriguing, and the boss fights were better (except bed of chaos which is the worst boss between the two)

Dark Souls PVP is such a fun/tense experience. Everybody should experience it and remember to praise the sun.

I had a fun experience on the same bridge about a week ago.

>summon dark phantom
>no armor or anything, I just punch him with little to no damage
>he strips and does the same thing
>i summon another red phantom, we both gear up in Havel and rape him
>he is my champion
>i keep on summoning other red phantoms and he keeps killing them
>rollin in effigy
>do this for 40 minutes
>get 30 he's
>mfw he kills me in one hit after we become blood brother on the bridge and he breaks my heart

While that seems fun, summoning reds only to gangbang them isn't something I appreciate on the bridge. I go there to do honorable PvP, not to get my time wasted by two pricks in full havel's. Do it in the copse or something.

I like the honorable PvP as well. The kind with the bowing and whatnot
And it may be absolute **** , but i'm fully decked out in +6 Alonne knight armor, with a +10 raw Zweihander. i win more than you'd think.

looks cool but ittd be a completely unfair fight because whites can't damage eachother but you reds must've been taking collateral left & right. Only fair way is a 4 way, 3 reds + host. or two reds, a blue and host

Like the other guy said, it's naturally balanced due to the fact that the whites have to kill ALL the reds, while the reds only have to kill the host. It's more of an objective fight than a straight deathmatch.
