... ******* odd. I was at a Gamestop when a dad came in and asked about Dark Souls 2 and about preordering it. I left before listening to the rest of the conversation, though.

You don't happen to live in MN, do you?

Now you have to go to the mall yourself and buy Dark Souls II yourself and never tell your Dad he messed up. That's what I would do, I'd feel like a dick if I told him he messed up.

How do you mess up something as ******* simple as a god damn number?

If he wasn't sure, he should've called because it wasn't his money to spend.

Call me a whiny little bitch teenager because I know this is what this is gonna sound like: How the **** do most people over the age of about 30 or so not have the capacity to understand the most simple **** about videogames? It's not ******* complicated.

If I told a 35 or so year old father that "A ford charger from 2007 is not the same as one from 2013" they would nod and mention the variations on the bodystyle. But the second I say "Dark Souls from a few years ago is different from Dark Souls 2 which is coming out next month" they would act like it's ******* rocket science or something.

order it online, that way you don't have to drive 48 miles
User avatar #18 - junkinator (03/10/2014) [+] (2 replies)
Hold the **** up... Why pre-order it 2 days before it comes out? Your dad drove 96 miles for nonsense

Black Armour Edition pre-ordered on Amazon since forever dude!

I sent my Mum out to get me Splinter Cell Chaos Theory (which had pretty much just came out at the time, so MANY MANY moons ago) for the Xbox Original, and she came back with Thief; Deadly Shadows.

FML.

Though admittedly, was pretty good game and introduced me to the other, much better versions. And as Thief 2013 has proven, the game just keeps getting worse.

He seems like a pretty cool guy considering he was willing to drive 48 miles (which I think is a lot) just to pick up a game for you even if he did get the wrong one.
