If you wanna get into dark souls pvp or get better at it, then read this,
I notice, a lot of you in this channel dont know much about pvp, Im not being a douchebag or anything but Im pretty much an expert. Its not about doing the most damage in one hit or having the most defense, its about finding certain tactics and learning how to combat different people effectively. A few things you should know, Soul level 120-130 is the designated pvp level, and the darkroot forest is not a good place to pvp if you're new. fast rolling is pretty essential, as well as poise. Heres a build that you can use, ( mugenmonkey.com/darksouls/?c=25022664...
) its very simple, Longsword and a claymore, now the longsword is gonna be your primary weapon. When you're fighting someone who might have a lot of poise and defense, switch to your claymore. A good tactic to use with pyromancy, is to throw a fireball directly in front of you, quickly switch to combustion and cast it, if you hit the enemy with both of those, it'll be pretty good. You could also throw on the crown of dusk for added pyro damage, although it makes you more vulnerable to magic attacks. Another great tactic would be to have the red tearstone ring close to your wolf ring (or whatever ring you prefer) just in case you find yourself low on health, you could swap rings and get added damage, thats also a good tactic for the hornet ring. And something I like to do is swap to havels ring and swap the claymore for a zweihander, havels ring is so you can fastroll with the zweihander, its pretty powerful and stuns easily.
Some items that you should have are, humanity, green blossums for stamina regen, golden one resin if you want some extra damage (charcoal resin works too) Lloyds talismans to prevent healing, and maybe some purple blossums in case you get poisoned. I hope this helps some of you, when you get better at pvp, you can even try making your own builds, its fun to experiment. If you wanna add me on xbox, let me know, Im happy to help anyone practice and teach them new things. The build I showed here is a very common one, reffered to as a ''quality build'' you dont have to use the weapons I said, the great thing about having 40 strength and 40 dex, you can pretty much wield any weapon, the bad thing is, its mostely for physical weapons, not magic. But you can also buff your weapons with resins. I have a lot more advice to give, sadly, Im reaching the character limit. \o/ praise the sun! 420 prai
