The wall takes priority over the message. You can't ever block an illusory wall with a message because your button (A or X) will ALWAYS open the door before reading the message.

In DS2, illusory walls use the A(360)/X(PS3) button, hitting them does nothing. Unless it's a wall revealed by pharros lockstones.

But, Souls basically does follow Adventure Time logic. An improbably strong, durable, and agile teenager fits in pretty well alongside guys wielding clubs larger than their bodies.

True, but seeing as he would be undead, he'd just come back, and your original post implied that Finn would be horribly outclassed and just constantly die in Dark Souls.

No, he'd come back and go through all of that. My original post is that he would go through Dark Souls as the chosen undead, meaning he would win, but not without feeling the hopeless struggle that most everybody who's played Dark Souls has in the first place.

No, it would be sad to watch, but the thing with the Souls series is that it always gets worse before it gets better. He'd die a lot until he can either give up and die or refuse to have his will broken. Well, he'd probably choose the later and struggle on until he finally wins.

Finn's a pretty nuanced character for a kid's show protagonist. He'd probably get bummed by the crushing forlorn atmosphere for a time, but then he'd summon Jake and bounce back.

Oh, well what's so interesting about that? The whole point of the Dark Souls world is that everybody is depressed as **** and that there is no ******* hope. The lighthearted atmosphere of Adventure Time just wouldn't go with it. I can only imagine the Adventure Time characters and art style with the soul-crushing atmosphere and story of Dark Souls.
