Yeah, some subs like /r/android and /r/outoftheloop are indispensable for knowing what the **** is going on sometimes.
Other TV show subs aren't nearly as bad, I think rick and morty's sub is so bad because of all the front-page-tier trash type people it tends to bring in. In contrast, /r/stargate is pretty great I've found
Then there's /r/deepintoyoutube and /r/youtubehaiku and /r/nottimanderic where I find all sorts of great potential dank webms.
My point is that most of reddit sucks donkey dicks but it has got its highlights.

I like /r/pcmasterrace for news about drivers and **** but when the get all circle-jerky about ******* Total Biscuit or one of their other neck-beard gods I try to stay away. also /r/buildapc is pretty good if you have questions but you are better off posting on Toms Hardware. And I don't know if you know about the JonTron sub but its ****** . People just go on there to ******** and get karma. Every post is just a picture of Jon's face with "30 mins into (insert jontron reference here) and chill" as the title and they are all getting like 100-200 upvotes on each. Other youtubers subs are good like /r/h3h3productions and /r/funhaus.

I've been subbed to /r/jontron for about a year and that sub's dissent into hell has been ******* hilarious. It started out with concern trolling when jon stopped uploading, and then that ******* crowbar joke post hit, and all was lost. They continue to defy my expectations every day I check the sub, I think that **** is mad hilarious. That being said, another favorite sub is /r/androidcirclejerk so that might be telling.
/r/h3h3productions is yes, a very good youtuber sub. Just the right ratio of content to dank memes

/r/pcmasterrace has some good moments like when they busted IGN for making the Xbone look like it can run games better than PC, but other than that it seems like the same bunch of autismos that post in /r/atheism.

I think the main problem with pcmr is that they got too serious with the whole thing. It used to be good for jokes and other cool "check out this cool **** that you can do with your pc that you couldn't back on consoles" posts, but it's mostly just ragging on 12 year old redditors and youtube comments these days. also I don't give a single **** about everyone's new PC part boxes. meh.
