Arcane University - Focus on healing/protection or Mysticism
Connections - Guild of Hunters or Alchemists' Guild
Go on awesome adventures with bud from chosen guild, and hopefully live long enough to just spend my days lounging in an armchair and telling younglings about "that time when I was young and did the thing, and I did it better than you ever could have", all the while planning grandiose magical pranks.
litterally no down side. make sure to be a regular with the thieves and assassins to insure yourself against being robbed or murdered. live in luxury and manage your trade empire as much as you want all while having a wife and a ******* castle. bore? **** me, i can find my own entertainment

Sign me up for that Arcane University. Take the connections perk and become friends with a warrior from the Hunters' Guild and kill monsters with magic. Plus I get to chill with smart people and learn **** , and I don't have to pay for anything I need.
I'd like to choose the path of the bard, simply because I like art, with literati as my perk. However, I must wonder, are literati and music with rocks in it ways to get legitimate talent, or simply ways to get a following without being actually all that good? Because I'd hate to be only able to write this universe's equivalent of Twilight or 50 Shades of Grey.
