captnnorway (11/14/2015) [-] Back when I was an airforce recruit, a guy fired a shot though it wasn't sharp. Dunno what it's called in english, but basically it's just red plastic ammo that only simulates shots being fired while asleep. He had forgotten to empty the gun before entering the tent, and had promptly fallen asleep with a full magazine in the weapon. During the night he sat up, loaded the gun and fired a shot before waking up by an officer slamming him down and removing his weapon. He got quite a lot of trouble for that, obviously.
