Les actually goes out into the wilderness and survives. Bear has a film crew medical team and sleeps at inns at night. I aint saying the man can't do it, I'm just saying he doesn't.

in his show he demonstrates survival techniques who could be useful if you'd get in such a situation, les straut is actually alone and would not get help if he'd need some, so he is much more cautious than bear.

Les gets help when he needs it. They aren't standing there holding his hand like for Bear.

But remember the episode he did in the tundra, when the ice on the ocean/lake started to melt, his team evacuated him, cutting the week of survival by a couple of days.

Well, as for that stupid picture. I don't see him in a dessert with the only source of liquid being himself. Bear even shows that the water running down from rocks are filtered and most likely clean. He shows that you don't need a leaf to drink it. He shows what you do without any form of water. He shows what to do so wild animals won't get you.

I've learned so much more from Bear than those two.
