good point, but they usually stay in their own shows or something
for example the Justice League is a crossover of all DC characters
Avengers is a crossover of all Marvel characters (except X-men for now... and Spiderman)

I always felt awkward calling heroes from the same story universe meeting and teaming up crossovers. I especially when you have things like the avengers and the justice league. i'd rather not call them comics and just have Marvel/Dc team comics which centers around the actions of the team as a whole and solo which focuses more on a specific character's life with any allies dropping in as needed for added awesome since they know each other and can run into each other at any time.
