In my english class we had to read a book about manzanar A camp for the people who had any japanese in them during WW2 in America due to the fear of them being spies. It talked about how they were horribly mistreated and junk through on chicks point of view. and my friend charlie was reading ahead and randomly threw his book across the room and got all upset. The teacher asked him what was wrong and he said that he didn't want the chicks father to die and **** . So yes, people do this.

He apparently related well to it or something I guess. I mean, here this chick is having to deal with a bunch of stupid **** in america just because she's asian. They were pretty much treated like blacks when slavery was abolished. Then there's the chicks cool father who ends up dying at some point. He was held in custody by the cops for a long as time because he wouldn't admit to helping bomb pearl harbor or something (Because he didn't help. But the police didn't give a **** ). So after being taken away and finally coming back he dies of a heart attack or something. He was a pretty cool father too. Maybe my friend was relating him to a missing father figure he never had or something.
