Romney isn't the president. During Bush's kim jongistration, whenever someone made a threat against him it wasn't taken lightly. Romney is as of this moment considered a normal citizen as he currently does not hold any political office.

But he's not really considered a normal citizen as eh already gets secret service protection, but the question is where's the outrage?

He may have protection, but he's still just a US citizen. As of now, he holds no governmental position whereas Obama is the leader of America, and arguably, the free world. If Romney is killed, there's an investigation and someone else is made the candidate. If Obama dies, the entire country is put on lockdown.

Clearly it's not the exact same thing. No situation is exactly the same as another. The point here is there was an enormous amount of rage when that girl made a Twitter message saying that somebody should kill Obama (which isn't really even a threat). However when actual (though again not serious) threats are made against Romney (which by the way is also illegal), nobody here cared one bit.

What this shows is that the fake rage on display the other day was just for show, and those people are just a bunch of losers and phonies.
