These posts always bug me a little, because there have been empires and other large city-based civilizations in Africa, they just haven't been as large as european and asian civilizations, and aren't typically talked about in their respective histories.

The Islamic states of North Africa never experienced a dark age, as well as the Islamic Iberian peninsula (Al-Andaluce). They never stopped learning, progressing economically, and they preserved hundreds of literary pieces from ancient Greece.

I don't have to mention Egypt.

The Congo once was separated by Tutsis and Hutus... they didn't war often and they lived peacefully.

Our ancestors are African. They survived the ice age. They walked thousands of miles to Europe. They defeated the Neanderthals. Humanity faced extinction. There were only a few thousand left at one point. But as humans, they survived.

We now own the world. We are looking to conquer other worlds. We are so bored with it we're fighting for meaningless things. We're Africans, and Africans are us. We're all human. I see their achievements as our achievements. We're all 99.9% alike. To divide each other by era, landmass, or invisible borders is understandable. But never carry that human instinct into your philosophy.
