Is it just me or is his left hand backwards? If you notice, the longest finger (middle finger) is where his ring finger should be, and vice versa. As a wee lad that always confused me and still does.

Big Red One is actually one of the few classic (and by that I mean "pre-MW2") CoD games that I never had a chance to play. From the description everyone is giving of it (Africa, Sicily as locations specifically), it sounds kinda badass...

that was my first video game, ever. I was 5 years old when I got it. Best game ever. I was stuck on Crucifix Hill for MONTHS. It felt like much longer.
Even to this day, I still take out the gamecube and play that game to remind me where it all began.
You not only gave me nostalgia, you gave me tons of feels. I bet you didn't expect this, but thank you for posting that.

I got the gamecube at 5, but Call of Duty 2 Big Red One is the game I played the most. When I first got the gamecube, it just sat there because I had only one game for it (which I forgo the title), which I beat the week I got the gamecube.
I got the game brand new, I only got it because I saw the commercial on TV, and mentioned it in Toys R Us when my dad was looking at a new bike for me.
I'm 15. Also, I exaggerated the "5 years old", I was 8, almost 9, so I probably got the game for my 9th birthday.

I played the second level of that campaign at least a hundred times when I first got it.
