Basically the world is divided like this. Before the game starts all players are given a certain number of troops to place wherever they want in the world. The goal is complete and total domination of everyone else in the game. To do this, when it is your turn you make your forces in whatever territory attack an enemies territory. You roll some dice and if the number rolled is bigger than the defender's number then you kill his troops there.. once they are all dead you take the territory. You can have almost as many troops as you want in a territory. Then you gain additional troops depending on the number of territories you hold and you gain bonus troops if you hold entire continents. This is why I start on Australia, the bonus isn't big but it's a great spot to hold out. You just play and play until you're the only force left standing and you own the world.
