From the author: "A good chunk of Andy's heritage is Irish (on his estranged father's side) and with the special attention the Irish get around St. Patrick's Day, Gogo--according to my original idea that got crushed by time constraints--is fascinated by his cultural heritage. It's a little--a lot, actually--out of character for Andy to do something so demonstrative, but he's usually so stern and reserved that this was fun to do. I think in the proper context he can be coaxed into a rather fun person. And jeez, it's about time he loosened up a little. Were I in his shoes there, I'd be belting out in song all night long."
