I think it is an inside joke on a Amon poster. The poster was drawn from an angle that made his hand look weird and like that guy from Scary Movie. I think it was done by a user on FunnyJunk, too!

Well, I know I liked it. The modern (ish) setting sort of seems out of place, and katara being the only one of the TLA series left alive is unsettling, but other than that i loved everything about it!
