So, some faggots think the next avatar will be
related to Aang, Lets do some science,,,
Assuming each avatar lives to be 80 (although
they can obviously live a lot longer), then there
is 240 years after Aangs death that the next air
avatar will be born,
Now, we assume Tenzins children reproduce at 30
years old, and so do his grand children and so on
240/
Including Tenzin, that means 9 generations will
have passed after Aang. Now for some more
maths,
Each generation would dilute Aangs genes by half,
Tenzin has 50% of Aangs genes, and his children
all have 1/ 4 of Aangs genes, Put mathematically,
if each generation after Aang = n, then Aangs
genes in that generation = (1/ ii)
The next avatar will have, at most, . 2% of Aangs
genes, This isn' t enough to be related
Another interesting fact: if you go back 20
serrations, we are all related!

what if 2 of the great-great grandchilden have kids together. The maximum amount is 25%, since it is possible for Tenzin's kids to have children together (we all know how smooth meelo is)

Sorry, but the next airbending avatar will have to be a direct disendant of Aang and Katara- Tenzin, Ikki, Jinora and Meelo are the only airbenders in the world.
And possibly Rohan, but we don't know that yet.
Avatar's are born into their natural element- Kyoshi was born into the Earth Kingdom, Roku was born into the Fire Nation, Aang was born into the Air Nomads and Korra was born into the water tribe.
As far as we know, no avatar is born of a different element to their genetic heritage. Which is why the fire nation killed off the air nomads first, then went after the water benders.
And possibly Rohan, but we don't know that yet.

The very next Avatar would have to be an Earthbender anyways so this is all kind of irrelevant unless you mean Airbending Avatar in which case you need to specifiy

Aang is the patriarch of the air nomads now, by definition every airbender that comes after him will be related to him regardless of percentage.

Aang was the last airbender, THE very last. Every airbender born after the hundred year war will have to be a direct descendant of Aang's. Yes, it will be diluted, very diluted, but the fact remains they will have to be a descendant of Aang's and therefor related to him.
