thousands of people there And one by one they would
all leave except a scarred sad man. And maybe a woman
in a blue dress would linger, trying to help like she
always does, But she would soon leave knowing that
this time she could not help. The man. who usually
looked powerful and strong, would appear like the lost
boy he once was. And if someone was listening closely,
they could hear Eu singing the song he always heard
his uncle sing:
from the urine,
Falling so slow
Like fragile. tiny shells
Drifting in the poem
Little soldier boy,
Como anyrthing Home
Brave soldier boy
Comes marching learne"

**captainrepp rolled a random image posted in comment #163 at OP delivers ** and then he would try to enter the spirit world to see him thus making another Iroh which is why he resigned as Firelord now travels the land sharing his wisdom.

that is soo sad :( i kinda wish they just continued avatar instead of making Korra. i mean Korra isnt as cute or funny as aang, and sokka and zuko were my favorite characters ever.

There is a problem with that, and it's that once Aang got to the point of mastering Avatar State (that is, at the end of ATLA) there is simply no challenge left for him. There is no mission they could make a series about, because they couldn't simply depower Aang as it would make no sense. He already got "all powerful", there was no turning back point anymore.

Just see what happens when he goes after that bloodbending guy. He tries to snap Aang's neck, to what result? Getting himself a nice dose of energybending and no more powers. What would be the problems for Aang to solve now that the Fire Nation is not an enemy of the rest of the world? A series about him helping people grow crops, or making a zoo? The fighting is the point people liked and the point Avatar is about. No fighting means no series.

Therefore, Korra. New elements, new plot, no Super Mode protagonist and the option to remodel a whole lot of things.

well they could have used the plot of LoK where a group of equalists rises to try and force aang and zuko out of power and take the world for themselves i mean it would be a pretty easy pass over and the whole back story with tarlock would still work its just that the whole series takes place maybe 10 years after the events of the last airbender amon could still be the force behind the whole thing the only part that would not work is tarlock and amons father's back story but that would be easily edited

When I saw the episode of all the characters going about on their mini stories, I cried like a ************ when Iroh's started singing the song about his son.

The conqueror of Ba Sing Se, the Dragon of the West, and the greatest tea brewer in the world.
And you think he could possibly die?

I was having a good day today. Now I'm crying.
Why the hell did you feel the need to point this out????
I was perfectly happy repressing the fact that he was dead.
