I buy mine used. At a fraction of the cost.

Unfortunately, they often have notes/doodles/spills/stains in them...

Why doesn't everyone just sell their books to junior students instead of stores? O_o
Hell, even for second hand books, at my school some kids manage to make a PROFIT off selling.

You would not ******* believe this, but this is the reason i got most of the time:

because often universities bring out new editions of the same book, with BARELY any changes. And unsure junior students think that it would be better to play it safe and buy the new editions.

I guess for uni it doesn't work as well since you have like 3 years between editions, but for high school it sure as hell does

Amulet of Zenithar
Masque of Clavicus Vile
**** ton of other price enhancing equipment
Maxed out Speech perks.
You'd probably end up getting back more than you paid for it.

$70 dollar textbook. They offered me

$1 for it back. Seriously. Kept it and used it for napkins, place mats, etc.
