1. The contemplative part of me likes how graceful and fluid it looks. It also has many practical uses and I think it'd just be fun to play with water when I'm bored.
2. The violent, angry part of me likes it for bloodbending. I think waterbending has the most potential for incredibly brutal murder. I would bend the blood inside of someone into thousands of little needles and bend them out of someone's body.

Heres the thing most people dont think of...as an airbender...lets just say youre a fucked up airbender..you can use air to cut....you can also..in theory..take the air out of someones lungs and block it out as long as you want...or you can use the air in their blood to make little air bombs in them...by building the air up in certain areas...and keep expanding them....using the air in the body you can potentially do more damage than a blood bender.....needless to say..i favor air..good for transportation and attack.....

Airbenders have never been shown to control tiny bits of air like waterbenders can with water. They redirect the air around them, they don't force it anywhere it really doesn't want to be. What they might be able to do is force air INTO someone's lungs until they rupture.

True, but airbenders only bend in a passive way because thats how their society does things...if you look at firebending there are 2 ways to do it...one is very forceful, controlling and violent..the other is artistic......so....maybe its that there are multiple mindsets to control/guide your element...it just depends on how you do it....i donno..thats just how i think anyways..im most likely completely wrong...
