Man all the bending styles look fucking identical in LOK. Half the detail that went into basing all the bending styles in TLA off of existing marshal arts styles disappeared between the two series. LOK looks fucking bland.

Fun fact: The fire bender at the opening credits of TLA is Princess Azula, the earth bender was meant to be Toph's original design, which was later changed to be the Toph we now know, and the water bender is Avatar Kuruk.

It isn't the boulder though it does sort of look like him. If I remember correctly the creators said it was the character design they were gonna use for Toph before she became an adorable little girl. We know who the other 7 are and not him

although its kinda strange that there isn't any kind of pattern in the intro characters, unlike in korra where each character is an (past) avatar.
the pattern in atla intro would be that the characters are those who taught aang bending. pakku, "male toph"...and Azula ... I guess they originally planned for azula to teach firebending ... that just sounds weird
