Dude, Hanako is ANYTHING but Tsundere. Tsundere hide their feelings and act indifferent or mean. Hanako hides her feelings for fear of being rejected and out of sheer lack of communication skills.

She is on the line between yandere (get the bad ending) and tsundere. She acts COLD when you meet her, tsundere doesn't mean always hostile.

She's far from the Yandere character archetype in her bad ending. Hisao just managed to piss her off enough to actually get her angry. She rants about Hisao and Lilly and yells at Hisao to get out. She's not even bordeline Yandere.

And she doesn't act cold, she acts extremely self-conscious and scared. Like a rabbit, as Hisao said. Hanako's a textbook example of a Shrinking Violet/wallflower. In fact, if it's possible to be more of a wallflower than a wallflower, then Hanako is. The word "cold" wouldn't even be the right one to use. "Distant" would be correct. Tsundere get violent, while Hanako is simply antisocial.

What's more, a tsundere would only show affection in brief bursts- relapses, if you will-, while Hanako shows it throughout most of her story, except when she locks herself in her room. If you watch anime like Zero no Tsukaima, with a tsundere main character, you'll see that even if you ignore Louise's violent side, she's still got virtually nothing in common with Hanako, behavior-wise.

There's only one Tsundere quality Hanako has and that's hiding her feelings. She does it differently, for different reasons, and her feelings remain consistent when she shows them.
