In a way, I don't want season two to come. Mostly because I have a feeling that it is going to be pretty bad plotwise.
I feel after the finale there is no room for a second season. The finale really messed up so many opportunities for an incredible second season due to its terrible and deus ex machina ending.
-Korra can bend all the elements (no grand spiritual journey to get her bending back)
-Korra and Mako are together (no relationship progression)
-Amon turns out to be a fake and is dead (would have been better if he actual did have something to do with the spirit world and that was explored in the second season)
-Asami didn’t betray the team (I waiting for this, would have been an awesome antagonist for next season)
And since it’s been confirmed that next season isn’t about Amon, I’m not sure what the hell it could be about that hasn’t been explored in ATLA or LoK already.
Also, apparently LoK was planned to be only one season, but Nick later extended it, which might explain the crappiness of the finale. But because of this season 2 might become a ‘me too’ season that will drop the ball.
