The Legend of Korra Season 2 aired a 4 part season finale. Two episodes came out at the normal time last Friday and two more were released online at midnight. I don't have the links with me. Try google if you missed on out the last two episodes (like I did, found out late in the day on Saturday.)
Season 3 will start MUCH sooner than season 2 did. There are already 4 episodes completely done for season 3. According to the producers.

kind of like how the bending tournaments didn't use taichi like bending, instead they use a quicker sport style. (which is why tenzin had an issue with it)
so maybe there may be a different way to harness airbending, such as using gasses, but i doubt it's really going to happen.

melontwilight (11/19/2013) [-] One of the creators said on his tumblr that the wait will be much shorter than between 1 and 2, since they've already started production (I guess because at first, they weren't sure if they were going to be able to do more seasons). I think he mentioned that some season 3 episodes are pretty much complete already.
