This is why I hate people.
Black bar is my posts. Yellow is some dumb bitch.
Earlier she uploaded a picture protesting racism, that's where I got the "Secretly racist" from.

the poster is fan-made and the sequel is NOT 100% confirmed
You're that annoying guy on facebook who argues with everyone constantly aren't you?
Fire benders have to have fire around to bend, what I hated most.

As a big fan of the original Avatar series, I avoided the "Last Airbender" film once I started hearing how butchered it had been. Though, I decided to give it a shot last night, found it on Netflix and thought I could ride out the inconsistencies and see if it wasn't really so bad. I made it 15 minutes in, honestly.
I get that it's an adaptation, and I get that adaptations can't always be 100% accurate. That I'm fine with. I've seen some of my favorite books turned into inaccurate films and still enjoyed them. But, it wasn't just the inconsistencies I had a problem with, on the whole the acting is terrible, the pacing is terrible, and the characters are one-dimensional and bland. In all, it's just not a good movie. Completely ignoring the fact that they changed a huge amount of the story, and left out some vital plot points, I could still be willing to forgive that. Alas, overall it was terrible from a cinematic standpoint and from the view of a fan of the animated series.
TL;DR - Inaccuracies are fine for the sake of adaptations, but there's no excuse for a flat out terrible movie.

I would rather reanimate Hitler and give him a nuke with a set course to Israel before I watched that movie.
Like i say on other picture about this: What if he changes thing and make it like the series? Granted still not as Accurate (like the girl said i dont think there is any movie that is 100% just like its counterpart)
What people need to realize is that these are Adaptation so treat it as such. just because its 100% like the Avatar doesnt make it a bad film. Granted ill admit i havent watch Avatar movie yet (still trying to watch the series) but i doubt its as bad as people make it out to be.
Even if that was the case like i said before what if he actually took the fans idea on this one? and changed it to be more fan orientated? i would assume people will still hate on it for no reason, but still. people make it seem like other cant change, or fix things.

The first movie made me embarrassed to admit to being a fan of the show. Seriously, Shyamalan, fuck you.

To the people defending it: When my family went to watch the movie on netflix my parents had never glimpsed at the animated series once, they watched about 30 minutes of it and both left the room shaking there head saying it was the worst acting and plot line they had seen in years. So even from a pure "Movie" stand point completely ignoring story inaccuracies it sucked complete dook.
I watched the movie for the first time the other night... It wasn't as bad as people on this site make it out to be. I mean, you have to take into account that they had to take the 10 hours of season one and fit it into a two hour window, and like most film adaptions, some things were bound to be different. But with all that said... it was still pretty fucking terrible.
